Despite an economic slowdown among many global staffing markets, Zurich-based The Adecco Group continues to acquire smaller rivals, this time scooping up MPS Group, Inc. in a cash transaction valued at approximately $1.3 billion.
MPS Group, based in Jacksonville, Florida, will now serve as the base for Adecco’s North America professional staffing operations. MPS Group is a Fortune 1000 staffing and consulting company that works in the disciplines of information technology, finance and accounting, law, engineering, marketing and creative, property, and healthcare.

Perhaps in an attempt to position itself for an economic recovery, Adecco also recently snapped up British firm Spring Group Ltd. and last year, acquired Dutch firm DNC.
Yes and now the mps people are telling Adecco what to do, how about that Adecco buys a sinking ship on the verge on bankruptcy and they want to listen to these idiots…
