Amybeth began her career in research in the summer of 2002 as the sole researcher for an award-winning MRI-affiliated executive search firm in Ohio.

After that, she served as the Manager of Internet Research for a recruiting franchisor in Ohio where she provided research support to franchise offices and implemented, customized, and conducted training classes for contact management databases as well as passive researching techniques. She is currently a Sourcing Strategist for Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, a global public relations firm headquartered in Seattle, WA.

  1. I am a recruiter with 25 years experience and am expanding my sourcing training and skills. I am not a techno expert, but I am an expert in the other parts of the recruiting process. In a perfect world I would like to have a great ‘sourcing’ guru in my back pocket because I could move so much faster. Sourcing is the first part of the recruitment cycle but the “thought” process is difficult to train someone on. You need the sourcing expert to understand the thought process of a recruiter… it is the way our brains jump, multi-task and dig,as we search for candidates. It is very hard to train on “thought process.” This comes with years of experience and an unique perspective.
