Robots might be filling in for most service workers by 2025, but will the automated workers also fill a critical need for workers with security clearance?
Probably not, at least not right now. So how do we solve the problem today of how to find professionals with the right security clearance?
There are some notable winners in the recruiting space who are being recognized for their efforts. About 100 recruiters from government contractor companies have been selected as the best when it comes to finding security-cleared job seekers.
ClearedJobs.net says the winners are those recruiters who “who miss lunch, don’t take breaks, and talk with every job seeker who comes to their booth” during career fairs.
The security cleared community is extremely competitive; the supply of professionals with security clearances is limited due to the security clearance process backlog.

Though a new report shows that security clearance rules can serve as impediments with “roots in the Cold War, and a lot of their assumptions are no longer valid.”
What sources do you use to find professionals with security clearances? How will the loosening of intelligence requirements change your approach?

These are clerks NOT recruiters.
What sources do I use? Any means necessary to identify and communicate with my client’s competitor’s top talent. More than that comes on a need to know basis but it sure does not include defense related job boards.
As to the question of how loosening of requirements will change my approach… I might decide to take more time off…but I just probably won’t want any more time off.
