WEDDLE’s has come out with its User’s Choice Award winners for 2009, the only awards in which actual users (recruiters and job seekers) are able to vote for the best job boards on the Web. Over 50,000 people cast their ballots in 2008, and as always, the top 30 vote-getters were declared the winners.
“Are there other great sites out there? Of course,” says employment guru Peter Weddle.
“But these winners have earned the acclaim of job seekers and recruiters alike, and to our way of thinking, there simply is no higher accolade,” he says.

This is a great idea, there are so many job boards to choose from. Maybe it would also be helpful to make sub-categories, like best niche job board, best job engine, etc in addition to best overall job board.
Cheers!

I used so many sites when I was trying to find a new job. I liked Indeed the best. It helped me find a field sales training that helped me land the job I have right now!
This is certainly a well-rounded list, but it’s missing one fantastic jobs website: ZipRecruiter.com, which lets recruiters post online jobs for free as well as allows job seekers to search millions of jobs from across the web. It’s a great service which helped me land my current gig, so I highly suggest giving it a shot if you’re in the job market looking for something fresh to get you where you’re going!
What a great list of job sites. Like Gary, I like Indeed the best due to the variety that they can offer.
